Grand Vitara - XL7 Front Steel Guard

Grand Vitara owners, who enjoy going off-road, will know that the GV performs as well (sometimes better!) than some of the larger 4WDS in the same class however, the vehicle has a relatively low ground clearance.

This can be improved with a suspension lift however; the front can still be vulnerable to the shovel effect whereby the front cross-member scoops sand, mud and rocks up into the undercarriage.

The under body guard helps to prevent the degradation of the rear main engine seal (a relatively common problem for Vitara/GV models) which can be costly to replace.

Also this is a cheap fix for those who have alloy front diff housings as they can shatter if hit. ( Auto models  )

This kit includes:

A one-piece moulded, 3mm Steel plate with a steel bolt-on cross member and all bolts to fit.
